 ”What we are seeking is near us; nothing prevents our seeing it save ignorance”
Feeling a little uncertain; confused maybe; or in an emotional flux trying to understand the emotional  issues which have been presented to you  during the past week?  The energy for this day  is telling us to  look within ourselves for the answers to our problems.  What is manifesting in the environment is the result of old belief systems which have been held onto  long past their time. Often, these beliefs were created in the childhood and have been acted out in relationships; intimate, work, creative, over and over again.  Often, we project blame onto those around us for our pain:  You did this!  You did that!  God did or didn’t do this or that.  The real issue is that our environment simply reflects back to us our beliefs whether these beliefs are conscious or unconscious.   Our beliefs taint our perceptions and often times, we miss what is really going on. 

How to Heal the Unconscious Mind
The energy for today says that we need to look within for the answers to the problem.  How many of us are willing to do the internal processing required to heal ourselves and environment?  What beliefs are you holding onto that have triggered unpleasant experiences in your life and what experiences continue to be a life time pattern?  Some of us are fully aware of the issue and have not chosen to address it.  Some of us know there is something there but don’t know how to get to the root.  Here are some steps to help find and then change your beliefs. 

Enter into a relaxed state of mind. Ask the questions, “What belief system am I holding onto which is being reflected in my environment and when did it start? Identify the belief by allowing it to surface into the conscious mind.

For those new to meditative practices, this process takes effort!  Becoming frustrated with yourself because the answers do not surface right away will not create the healing you want.  It may take a few tries, but if you are diligent, the answers to these questions will surface, often by childhood memories surfacing, or thoughts and emotions coming up which you have not allowed yourself to feel or express for a very long time.

Begin reprogramming the mind.  Visualize your self at the age at which you determine you attached to that belief.  Give the “you” that you saw or felt and alternative belief.  Do this several times per week for three weeks.  Often, other associated beliefs will surface, like branches on a tree.  Do the same thing with these beliefs. Self-Healing is a journey.  Allow yourself to accept then enjoy your journey. 

What to expect
As the belief system changes, you will begin feeling  changes in the mind and emotions; deep urges to begin changing  things in your environment; urges to make different choices and will  begin seeing people and issues from a different light.  Go with these urges and allow yourself to make different choices.

Be careful to not just be reactionary.  These urges are usually subtle.   Often you begin to see a different perspective; a different side of the story. With these urges also comes the energies of   understanding and compassion, and we are able to forgive  ourselves for choices in the past that harmed us.  Reactionary choices and changes will create more pain in the life, so use discernment.  Kicking your husband or wife to the curb because you are mad is not what we are speaking about!

Again, this process takes effort.  Changes will not occur over night, but be  assured, changes will come!  Life is a journey and it is important to be an active participant in our own life experience.
